Creating a stand-out product in a crowded marketplace is a challenge which faces every speaker company. Mission has responded with the 761, a lineal descendant of the classic Mission 700. It's 7 inch mid-bass driver combines an ultra-rigid Plastiflex cone with a motor system incorporating a specially shaped pole piece and an ultra-fine voice coil gap for controlled, extended bass performance. The upper frequencies are handled by a soft polymer dome tweeter featuring ferrofluid cooling. This endows the driver with far greater power handling capability and significant reductions in distortion and sibilance. The matchless dispersion, high sensitivity and broad dynamic range make the Mission 761 an ideal compact monitor for both digital and analogue source material.
